Temple Talk 6: Sith Cells & Masters
Greetings Emperor Imperius,
We have a very dark night ahead of us right now and I must say that I like the Sith cell pic you have found here.
Greetings Darth Ravenus. Yes I like it also. Notice that there are nine men? Our Dark Council of Nine will resemble this group when it is fully formed. The Dark Council is the master cell, which will command the entire cell network.
Tell us what you have in mind for this new cell network and Master rank.
I would like to see that all members of the order have the chance to create a cell group in their hometown or city and for doing this, we shall grant them the title of Master. Of course, there are a few precautions to follow and we need only pick the best and the brightest to lead these so called cells for us.
I see. So if a current member of the Academy wants to start a cell, they just contact us and we will give them the go ahead? What support will they receive from us, such as training material, propaganda, uniforms, etc.?
Let’s back up a bit and talk about who might fit the profile of a cell leader and what they might look like, etc.
Cell leader 1
Cell leader 2
Are any one of these two characters one of our new cell leaders to be?
Actually I was thinking more like this:
Here we see the cell Master dispatching his two trainees on a mission for the Empire. What do you think?
Wow! Damn. It’s about time someone around here showed their true colors and demonstrated how pictures alone speak a thousand words. Yes, I am familiar with this pic and it was given to me by a new Lord applicant to the Academy just a few days ago. What this picture says to me is that we need to go for a certain look, that will explain and tell a story of our Black Sun mythos.
Yes, but we need to provide the structure, the ideology and the inspiration. This is where the Maxims, Canons and Echelons in our forthcoming book will be vital.
Guidelines for Cell Mastery:
Basically, a cell master will be someone who we have given some initial training at the Academy and has read and understood our book. The training will be flexible, as long as it follows our guidelines. In future Temple Talks, we will discuss the Echelons in detail and this will be made available to Masters. Your thoughts?
I wish to talk about character and how important it is to me and I am sure you as well. We have had a number of people come through the Academy and some have been worthy of my respect and others, not so much. With any group outside of our control, there is the issue of how you keep someone motivated and on track with our way of life or you like to term it as ideology. This has to be sorted out somehow.
Indeed. Our first task is quality control, to weed out the weak, unserious role-players from the dedicated Sith disciples. This is why we give them their Echelon One Evaluation: to test them and see if they are cut out for the Sith Path.
As for motivation, this is where our Temple Talks, video, holocrons, the Temple, etc. come in. If we continue to work our magic and the Empire’s power continues to grow, motivation will not be a problem. But I want this Order to be bigger than the Emperors; we need to put a vision and a structure in place that will outlive any of us, and last for the ages. This is what Sithism is all about — being part of something larger and more magical, and walking with the immortals of the dark side.
Let’s talk about magic; show me that impressive picture you always talk about.
You mean this one?
An Iranian Sith cell?
I like it; this picture and the men here speak of power and passion for a cause larger than life.
Indeed. Hezbollah and the Iranian theocracy are beautiful conceptions that really have the Sith spirit in many ways. Notice how the mullahs are like the Sith Lords and the Hezbollah warriors are the loyal soldiers of the Empire. The fact that they are seen as villains by so many in the West just shows how weak and brainwashed we have become. This is exactly what I mean by being part of something larger and walking with the immortals. This is real warrior spirituality and passion that our mundane technocrats fear and don’t understand. We must make them understand, and make them fear us.
Emperor Imperius, do you recognize this man?
He looks vaguely familiar, but I don’t know his name.
This man was a Mastermind at getting others to follow and create cells for him.
Is it Khalid Sheikh Mohammed?
I’ll give you a hint!
Actually, show me a pic of him. Let’s compare these two men and see how they are different or somewhat alike.
For this is an issue of knowing and learning from the great Cell Masters of the world on how you get others to follow and abide by your way of life, etc.
This is Sheikh Mohammed, supposedly the 9-11 mastermind. He knew a few things about organizing cells.
Anyway, I need another hint, if you want to continue to play this game.
These two men are the world’s leading cell Masters and were eventually taken down by the lightsiders. We mustn’t make the same mistakes as they did.
Oh right, of course. Yes Escobar was a real Sith Lord, no doubt. Do you know that he once walked right out of his prison (which he had made into a luxury hotel), and the soldiers just let him go because they were so afraid of him? That’s real Sith Lord power!
And this power of theirs was paranormal and misunderstood by many mundanes of this world. This was their weakness in a way as far as getting too much attention on them and becoming a target.
Yes, that’s a good point. Escobar was very flamboyant and had huge palaces and private zoos and didn’t really operate in the shadows. He basically tried to take over Columbia, and it sounds like he almost succeeded. But his weakness was the weakness of all gangsters: He lacked a larger ideology which could win followers and outlive him. When he was shot down like a dog by the Columbian special forces, he maybe had one or two bodyguards with him and when he died, his empire died with him. We must not make this mistake! It reminds me of the Star Wars universe: The “Black Sun” was the galactic mafia, and they were very powerful, but it was the Sith who were more feared and who reigned supreme because they had paranormal power, not just muscle power. They had the religion of the dark side of the Force — that was their key to power, as it must be ours.
What does it say, Emperor Imperius?
It’s a little hard to read, but Darth Maul says “Black Sun was nothing compared to the power of the Sith.” We must always remember this: Without the mystique and magic of the dark side, we will never be more than glorified gangsters and political operatives. To be truly powerful, we must transcend these mundane categories.
Well said. I suggest that we keep the power of the Sith alive in our stories and teachings, but the Back Sun rising will fuel our passion as foretold to me in a grand vision on top of Mt. Imperius.
Agreed, but just don’t confuse the Star Wars black sun gangsters with our Black Sun, which is the source of our magical power!
But for now, let’s focus on determining the criteria for selecting a cell Master by meditating on it for a few days and then come back here to finish up this section of the book.
I will meditate in my chamber on this question. I’ll leave you with this picture of the interior of Sith Academy on Korriban, to inspire us as we build our own Temple on this planet:
